Learn how to use your camera better (possibly) or teach others how to frame pictures or use different techniques to get certain effects.

Our aim is to set projects, to encourage experimentation to improve your photo skills, (you don’t have to do these if you feel you don’t want to or cannot), offer support where we possibly can with difficulties with your camera or equipment.  Learn through critique, not criticism.  Where possible to provide education on photographic topics, procedures, camera settings etc. whilst not giving long lectures, i.e. short concise coverage of subjects with room for questions. (If possible about  20 minute sessions, and not necessarily at every meeting) We would welcome feedback on what you would like to see from the Group, and to please let us know if you are no longer interested in the Group.  Our hope is to see you all at our meetings.

I have decided to hold this at Walton and Frinton Yacht Club so there will be a cost of £3 per person when attending inclusive of Tea/Coffee and now biscuits.

January 14th – Christmas or Some of your favourite Pictures.

2024

December 10th – Christmas – was postponed as no one could make it.

November 12th – Autumn Leaves – bring along 5 (or more) pictures of Autumn Leaves.

October 8th – Boats and Harbours – bring along 5 (or more) pictures of Boats and/or Harbours.

September 10th – Flowers – bring along 5 (or more) pictures of Flowers.

August 13 – The beach – bring along 5 (or more) pictures on the subject of ‘The Beach’.

July 9th – Get to know everyone and discuss what you would like.
