Ian Davidson will be talking to us about the fun of entering competitions, especially at Christmas, when there are more than at any other time of the year. He will also be running a Christmas related quiz during the talk with small prizes for the lucky winners followed by a glass of mulled wine and mince pie.
Coming up in September there is the quiz night, don’t forget to bring you drinks and nibbles.
Tickets cost £5 for members and £10 for none members.
This was a great success (even though we lost about £40) and all that attended had a great time.
There were lots of Flower stall selling numerous varieties of plants, with stalls selling garden ornaments and tools.
There were also a number of food stalls selling Teas, coffees, soft drinks and food from foot long hot dogs to fondu salad.
There was also a bar!

This will be held at McGrigor Hall on the 15th March 2025. Doors open at 7:15pm (1915hrs).

Barn Dance – McGrigor Hall – 15th March. Went well and those that attended had a great time but we lost £300.
Summer coach trip to Hylands House Chelmsford for the National Garden Show – 17th May. This went well all had a great time with lots of plants and garden ornaments returning with us.
Autumn Quiz – Mcrigor Hall – 6th September.
